വിശ്വാസികളുടെ അഭിമാനബോധത്തെ വ്രണപ്പെടുത്തരുത്!
കൊച്ചി . സമാധാനത്തിലും ഐക്യത്തിലും അഭിമാനബോധത്തോടെ ജീവിക്കാനാഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ലോകമെങ്ങുമുള്ള സീറോമലബാർ സഭാംഗങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസത്തെയും അഭിമാനബോധത്തെയും വ്രണപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് കുറച്ചുകാലങ്ങളായി എറണാകുളം- അങ്കമാലി അതിരൂപത ആസ്ഥാനത്തു നടന്നുവരുന്നുവരുന്നത്.
പ്രശ്നപരിഹാരത്തിനായുള്ള സാദ്ധ്യതകൾ വിട്ടുവീഴ്ചാമനോഭാവത്തോടെ തേടുമ്പോഴും തങ്ങളുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ നേടിയെടുക്കാമെന്ന ചിന്തയോടെ, അതിരൂപതകേന്ദ്രത്തിന്റ പ്രവർത്തങ്ങൾ തടസപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതും, ക്രൈസ്തവജീവിതമാതൃകയുടെ ആൾരൂപങ്ങൾ ആകേണ്ട വൈദീകർതന്നെ തങ്ങളുടെ ജീവിതാന്തസിനു യോജിക്കാത്തരീതിയിലുള്ള സമരവുമായി രംഗത്തിറങ്ങുന്നത് വിശ്വാസികൾക്കാകെ ഉതപ്പും ദുർമാതൃകയും നൽകുന്നതാണ്.
ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട വൈദികർ അസഹിഷ്ണുതയുടെ സംസ്കാരത്തിന്റെ പ്രചാരകരാകുന്നതു തികച്ചും അപലപനീയമാണ്. സുവിശേഷത്തിനുയോജിക്കാത്ത ഇത്തരം പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങളും പ്രകടനങ്ങളും ഒരു തലമുറയുടെ തന്നെ വിശ്വാസത്തെയാണ് നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
സഭയില്ലാതായിട്ടു പിടിവാശികൾ വിജയിച്ചിട്ടെന്താണ് കാര്യം? സഭാത്മകമായ രീതിയിൽ പ്രശ്നപരിഹാരത്തിനായി ശ്രമിക്കേണ്ട വൈദികർ അതിരൂപതാ കേന്ദ്രം കൈയ്യേറാൻശ്രമിക്കുന്നതരത്തിലുള്ള സമരമാർഗ്ഗങ്ങൾ അവലംബിക്കുന്നതിന മീഡിയ കമ്മീഷൻ അപലപിക്കുന്നു. സീറോമലബാർസഭയുടെ അഭിമാനത്തിനും വിശ്വാസപൈതൃകത്തിനും ഇനിയും ക്ഷതമേല്പിക്കാതെ എറണാകുളം അങ്കമാലി അതിരൂപതയിലെ തുറന്നു മനസ്സോടെയുള്ള ചർച്ചകളിലൂടെയും എന്നാൽ അടിസ്ഥാന തത്വങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യതിചലിക്കാതെയും പരിഹരിക്കണമെന്ന് എല്ലാവരോടും അഭ്യര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

Do not Anguish the self-esteem of the Syro-Malabar faithful!
Things that have been happening in the Ernakulam-Angamaly Archdiocese for some time now are hurting the faith and self-esteem of the Syro-Malabar Church members around the world who want to live in peace and unity. It is a disgrace and a bad example for all believers that priests, who should be the models and embodiment of the Christian life style, are obstructing the activities of the Archeparchial Curia with the thought of achieving their own needs while seeking possibilities for resolving the problem with a spirit of compassion and compromise. It is absolutely reprehensible that respected priests are propagating a culture of intolerance. Such protests and demonstrations that are not in keeping with the Gospel values are destroying the faith of an entire generation. What is the point of winning self- interests without the Church? The Syro-Malabar Church denounces the fact that priests who should be trying to resolve the problem in a church-like manner are resorting to such methods of struggle as are trying to seize the Archeparchy. We request everyone to resolve the issue through open and honest discussions in the Ernakulam Angamaly Archeparchy without further damaging the dignity and heritage of the Syro-Malabar Church, but without deviating from the basic principles.
