കാക്കനാട്: സീറോമലബാർസഭയുടെ മേജർ ആർച്ചുബിഷപ് മാർ റാഫേൽ തട്ടിൽ പിതാവ് ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്കു പന്ത്രണ്ടുമണിയോടെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്രമോദിയെ സന്ദർശിച്ചു. സീറോമലബാർസഭയുടെ നേതൃത്വസ്ഥാനം ഏറ്റെടുത്തതിനുശേഷം ആദ്യമായി ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിൽ എത്തിയ അവസരത്തിലാണ് മേജർ ആർച്ചുബിഷപ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുമായി കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച നടത്തിയത്. മേജർ ആർച്ചുബിഷപായി സ്ഥാനമേറ്റ അവസരത്തിൽ ആശംസകളറിയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി അയച്ച കത്തിനു പിതാവു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയോടു നന്ദിപറഞ്ഞു.
സീറോമലബാർസഭയുടെ നേതൃത്വസ്ഥാനത്തേക്കു തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട പിതാവിനു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി എല്ലാവിധ ആശംസകളും ഒരിക്കൽക്കൂടി നേരുകയും സഹകരണം വാഗ്‌ദാനം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു. തികച്ചും ഔപചാരികമായ കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയിൽ ഭാരതത്തിലെ ക്രൈസ്തവരുടെ പൊതുവായ സാഹചര്യം പ്രതിപാദനവിഷയമായി. ഫരീദാബാദ് രൂപതാധ്യക്ഷൻ ആർച്ചുബിഷപ് മാർ കുര്യാക്കോസ് ഭരണികുളങ്ങര പിതാവും മേജർ ആർച്ചുബിഷപ്പിനോടൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കേന്ദ്രസഹമന്ത്രിമാരായ ശ്രീ. രാജീവ് ചന്ദ്രശേഖറും ശ്രീ. വി. മുരളീധരനും കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയിൽ സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു.
Major Archbishop Mar Raphael Thattil visited the Prime Minister
Kakkanad: Mar Raphael Thattil, the Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malabar Church, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today at noon in New Delhi. The Major Archbishop visited the Prime Minister as he reached the capital for the first time after his election as the head of the Syro-Malabar Church. Mar Raphael Thattil thanked the Prime Minister for his letter of felicitation on the occasion of his enthronement as the Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malabar Church. The Prime Minister felicitated Mar Raphael Thattil once again and promised his collaboration. The common life situation of the Christians in the country was a matter of discussion in the formal meeting. Archbishop Kuriakose Bharanikulangara of the Eparchy of Faridabad was with the Major Archbishop. Shri. Rajeev Chandrasekhar and Shri. V. Muraleedharan, the Ministers of State, were also present in the meeting.
