കെയ്റോസിന്റെ സ്വന്ത്വം ജറിൻ ഇനി ഇല്ല

വിശ്വസിക്കാനാവുന്നില്ല. ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച രാത്രി പത്തരയോടെയാണ് ബാംഗ്ലൂരിൽ നിന്ന് ജോസ് വിളിച്ചത്. വൈകുന്നേരം ബാഡ്മിന്റൺ കളിക്കിടെ ഹൃദയാഘാതം വന്ന് 23 വയസ് മാത്രമുള്ള ജറിൻ വാകയിൽ മരിച്ചു എന്ന അതീവ ദുഖകരമായ വിവരം പറയാനായിരുന്നത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ 3-4 വർഷങ്ങളായി കെയ്റോസ് ടീമിൽ നിന്ന് ഞങ്ങളിൽ ചിലർക്ക് എല്ലാ ദിവസവും നിരവധി തവണ ജറിനുമായി ഇടപെടേണ്ടി വരാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. JyKairosmedia എന്ന വെബ് സൈറ്റിന്റെയും cloudcatholic ആപ്പിന്റെയും പിന്നിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട പ്രവർത്തകനെന്ന നിലയിലായിരുന്നത്. ഈ ബുധനാഴ്ച രാത്രിയിലും അടുത്ത ഘട്ട പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഒരു മീറ്റിങ്ങ് തീരുമാനിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

വളരെ അവിചാരിതമായാണ് എഞ്ചിനിയരിംഗ് പഠന കാലത്ത് ജറിൻ കെയ്റോസിലെത്തുന്നത്. എനിക്ക് താല്പര്യമുണ്ട്, ഈ ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ പങ്ക്‌ ചേരാൻ എന്നാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്. പിന്നീടങ്ങോട്ട് കെയ്റോസിന്റെ സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യ ആവശ്യമുള്ള എല്ലാത്തിന്റെയും മുൻ നിരക്കാരനായി.

പഠിച്ചതിനൊക്കെയപ്പുറത്ത് അവയെല്ലാം പ്രാവർത്തികമാക്കി. നിഷ്കളങ്കതയും, മടുപ്പില്ലാതെ ജോലി ചെയ്യാനുള്ള മനസ്സും ജറിനെ വിത്യസ്തനാക്കി. എല്ലാം ചെയ്തു തീർത്തിട്ട് പിന്നിലേയ്ക്ക് മാറി നില്ക്കും.

ഞാനൊരിക്കൽ മത്രമേ ജറിനെ നേരിൽക്കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ളു എന്നതാണ് വാസ്തവം. ബാംഗ്ലൂരിൽ നിന്നുള്ള കാർലോ അക്യൂട്ടിസ് എന്നാണിപ്പോൾ ആരോ വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചു കേട്ടത്.

ജറിനുമായി ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ഇടപെട്ടിരുന്ന കെയ്റോസ് മീഡിയയിലെ ജോഷി പറയുന്നു

Dear all,
Pls pray for the soul of Jerrin Tobias (23) son of Tobias & Blessy (catechism teacher 7th Std, St. Nobert church, Kasavanahali) who died yesterday 6.30pm due to cardiac arrest while playing Badminton with his friends.

From altar boy to youth leader, Jerrin was an integral part of St. Nobert Church till his last breath. Even at the Onam celebrations last week, it was he took the video, edited and circulated it. We all participated in the Holy Mass from our homes during COVID-19 because Jerrin was there at the Church to help Benny Achan with the telecast. We were one of the first churches in Mandya Diocese to go live thanks to Jerrin’s enterprise.

He was a good learner and talented in all the fields. He was a good programmer, He was the sole in-charge of the Kairos Media & Magazine mobile app “cloud catholic” and an active Jesus Youth (JY), who took commitment in May 2023 and was part of the media team – Jaago app of the JY youth conference in Christ University on 21st to 24th Oct -2023.bangalore.

His life was extraordinary and His mother remembered his love for daily Eucharist that every day he would be ready before they got up to go to church. He is our Blessed Carlo Acquits of India.

We all should pray for his soul so that he intercedes for us from heaven from now. May Lord give the strength to his Dad Thobias, Mom Blessy, brother Joel and all of us to bear this big loss.
