വിശ്വാസപ്രമാണം ???
അപ്പസ്തോലന്മാരുടെ വിശ്വാസപ്രമാണമാണ് ഏറ്റവും പഴയതും വിവാദങ്ങൾക്കും ചർച്ചകൾക്കും അധികം വിധേയമാകാത്തതും. പന്ത്രണ്ട് അപോസ്തോലന്മാരാൽ രൂപീകൃതമായി എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോഴും വി. ഹിപ്പോളിറ്റസിന്റെ പാരമ്പര്യത്തിൽ ക്രിസ്തുവർഷം 140 നോടനുബന്ധിച്ചാണ് റോമൻ കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയിൽ ഇത് പ്രചാരമായത്. മാമോദീസ മൂക്കുമ്പോൾ ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞിരുന്ന വിശ്വാസപ്രമാണമായിരുന്നു ഇത്. കത്തോലിക്കർ, ആംഗ്ലിക്കർ, പ്രൊട്ടസ്റ്റന്റുകാർ തുടങ്ങിയവർ അപ്പസ്തോലന്മാരുടെ വിശ്വാസപ്രമാണം ഏറ്റുപറയുന്നു. ഓർത്തഡോക്സുകാർ ഇതംഗീകരിക്കുന്നില്ല. അപ്പസ്തോലന്മാരുടെ വിശ്വാസപ്രമാണം കാതോലിക്കാ വിശ്വാസപ്രമാണമായി ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞാൽ അതാവും ആശയക്കുഴപ്പങ്ങൾ ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ എളുപ്പം. മറ്റു വിശ്വാസപ്രമാണങ്ങൾ കൗണ്സിലുകളിൽ പല കാരണങ്ങളാൽ ഏറെ ചർച്ച ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടവയും പല വിട്ടുവീഴ്ചകൾക്കും കാരണമായവയുമാണ്.
” സര്‍വ്വശക്തനായ പിതാവും ആകാശത്തിന്‍റെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവുമായ ദൈവത്തില്‍ ഞാന്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു .അവിടുത്തെ ഏകപുത്രനും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കര്‍ത്താവുമായ ഈശോ മിശിഹായിലും ഞാന്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു .ഈ പുത്രന്‍ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവാല്‍ ഗര്‍ഭസ്ഥനായി കന്യാമറിയത്തില്‍ നിന്നു പിറന്നു .പന്തിയോസ് പീലാത്തോസിന്‍റെ കാലത്ത് പീഡകള്‍ സഹിച്ച് ,കുരിശില്‍ തറയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ട് ,മരിച്ച് അടക്കപ്പെട്ടു ;പാതാളത്തില്‍ ഇറങ്ങി ,മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയില്‍നിന്നു മൂന്നാം നാള്‍ ഉയിര്‍ത്തു ;സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തിലെക്കെഴുന്നള്ളി ,സര്‍വ്വശക്തിയുള്ള പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വലതു ഭാഗത്ത് ഇരിക്കുന്നു ;അവിടെനിന്ന് ജീവിക്കുന്നവരെയും മരിച്ചവരെയും വിധിക്കാന്‍ വരുമെന്നും ഞാന്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു .പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിലും ഞാന്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു .വിശുദ്ധ കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയിലും ,പുണ്യവാന്മാരുടെ ഐക്യത്തിലും ,പാപങ്ങളുടെ മോചനത്തിലും ,ശരീരത്തിന്‍റെ ഉയിര്‍പ്പിലും നിത്യമായ ജീവതത്തിലും ഞാന്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു . ആമ്മേന്‍ .”
പ്രധാന വിശ്വാസപ്രമാണങ്ങൾ:
1.The Nicean Creed:
“We believe in one God, Father, Almighty, maker of all things, visible and invisible, and in one Lord Jesus Christ, begotten of the Father, God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not made, co-substantial with the Father, through whom all things were made, both things in heaven and those in earth, who for us men and for our salvation came down and was incarnate, (and) became man; he suffered and rose on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is coming to judge the living and the dead, and in the Holy Spirit.”
2.The Creed of Constantinople
“We believe in one God Father, Almighty the Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, only begotten from the Father before all ages; Light from Light, true God from true God; begotten, not made, co-substantial with the Father; by whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man; was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; and suffered, and was buried; and the third day rose again, according to the scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father; and will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom will have no end. 3.Creed of Jerusalem
“I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible; And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before the ages, true God, by whom all things were made, who was incarnate and made man, crucified and buried, and rose again on the third day, and ascended into the heavens, and sat down at the right hand of the Father, and is coming to judge quick and dead.And in the Holy Ghost, the Paraclete, who spake by the prophets;And in one holy catholic Church; and resurrection of the flesh; and in life everlasting.”
4.The Creed of Chalcedon

5.The Apostles Creed
“I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,who was conceived by the Holy Spiritand born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate,was crucified, died, and was buried;he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead.He ascended to heavenand is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,the holy catholic* church,the communion of saints,the forgiveness of sins,the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.”
