I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation with you. For the past seven days, I’ve been in the hospital with Beena, and my donor, Lilly, got admitted the day before yesterday. As I prepare for the surgery, I’ve been reflecting on the overwhelming love and prayers I’ve received from you and so many in our community. It’s humbling to know that many Bishops and priests are offering Holy Mass for both our families, including 30 days of Gregorian Mass, and various gatherings have been organised to intercede for us. I can truly feel the warmth of love, care, and prayers surrounding me like a protective shield. Though I don’t feel worthy of it, it’s clear to me that the triune God is revealing His love and mercy through each of you.
Having left a career to pursue full-time ministry 27 years ago, I reflect on that journey with a heart full of gratitude and joy. And all these years, I tried my best to serve our Mother Church through the Jesus Youth Movement. But beyond my ministry, I have been embraced and loved by so many of you as if I were an elder brother, and for that, I am forever thankful. While I understand that this is a major surgery, I remain hopeful about regaining my health in the months to come. However, if it is His will to call me home, I ask for your prayers that my exit will be peaceful, and I want you to know that I will continue to pray for you. We will undergo the transplant surgery today, and I request your prayers for both of us.
PS
I will be in the ICU for 10 days after my surgery and won’t have access to my phone or any other communication device. 🥲 My phone will be switched off soon, but Beena will update you.

Praise God! This is Beena here, and I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your loving and fervent prayers on behalf of Manoj, Lilly and both our families. I’m sure you have all been receiving updates through the Jesus Youth networks throughout the day. The surgeries went smoothly, “without any hiccups,” according to the doctors, and both of them have been shifted to the ICU. Lilly’s condition is stable and her family got to see her. We saw Manoj as he was being moved and he responded in spite of the heavy sedation. They will allow me to see him once he’s fully conscious. God has been overwhelmingly gracious to us, and we got to experience a great peace and confidence that was undoubtedly the fruit of all the prayers, including yours, that were being offered worldwide. So thank you most sincerely and please do continue to keep them in prayer over the coming days.
