ഒന്നാം വായന നിയ 4 : 1-8
നിയമാവര്‍ത്തന പുസ്തകത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വായനഇസ്രായേലേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിനും നിങ്ങള്‍ ചെന്ന്‌ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്‍മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ കര്‍ത്താവു തരുന്ന ദേശംകൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിനും ഞാനിപ്പോള്‍ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ചട്ടങ്ങളും കല്‍പനകളും അനുസരിക്കുവിന്‍.ഞാന്‍ നല്‍കുന്ന കല്‍പനകളോട്‌ ഒന്നും കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ക്കുകയോ അതില്‍ നിന്ന് എന്തെങ്കിലും എടുത്തുകളയുകയോ അരുത്‌. ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കുന്ന, നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ കല്‍പനകള്‍ അനുസരിക്കുവിന്‍.കര്ത്താവ് ബാല്‍പെയോര്‍ നിമിത്തം ചെയ്‌തതെന്തെന്ന്‌ നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകള്‍ കണ്ടതാണല്ലോ. ബാല്‍പെയോറിനെ പിന്തുടര്‍ന്നവരെയെല്ലൊം നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ കര്‍ത്താവു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്‍നിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.എന്നാല്‍, നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ കര്‍ത്താവിനോട്‌ ദൃഢമായി ചേര്‍ന്നുനിന്ന നിങ്ങള്‍ ഇന്നും ജീവിക്കുന്നു.ഇതാ, നിങ്ങള്‍ കൈവശമാക്കാന്‍ പോകുന്ന രാജ്യത്ത്‌ നിങ്ങളനുഷ്‌ഠിക്കേണ്ട തിന്‌ എന്റെ ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവ് എന്നോടു കല്‍പിച്ചപ്രകാരം അവിടുത്തെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും കല്‍പനകളും നിങ്ങളെ ഞാന്‍ പഠിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.അവയനുസരിച്ചു പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുവിന്‍. എന്തെന്നാല്‍, അതു മറ്റു ജനതകളുടെ ദൃഷ്‌ടിയില്‍ നിങ്ങളെ ജ്‌ഞാനികളും വിവേകികളുമാക്കും. അവര്‍ ഈ കല്‍പനകളെപ്പറ്റി കേള്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ മഹത്തായ ഈ ജനത ജ്‌ഞാനവും വിവേകവുമുള്ളവര്‍തന്നെ എന്നുപറയും.നാം വിളിച്ചപേക്‌ഷിക്കുമ്പോഴൊക്കെ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ കര്‍ത്താവു നമുക്കു സമീപസ്‌ഥനായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ദൈവം ഇത്ര അടുത്തുള്ള വേറേ ഏതു ശ്രേഷ്‌ഠജനതയാണുള്ളത്‌?ഞാന്‍ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ മുന്‍പില്‍ വച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നിയമസംഹിതയിലേതുപോലെ നീതിയുക്‌തമായ ചട്ടങ്ങളും നിയമങ്ങളും മറ്റേതു ശ്രേഷ്‌ഠ ജനതയ്‌ക്കാണുള്ളത്‌?
രണ്ടാം വായന
ഏശ 2 : 1-5ഏശയ്യാ പ്രവാചകന്റെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വായന
യൂദായെയും ജറുസലെമിനെയും കുറിച്ച്‌ ആമോസിന്റെ പുത്രനായ ഏശയ്യായ്‌ക്കുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാട്‌:
അവസാനനാളുകളില്‍ കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ ആലയം സ്‌ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന പര്‍വതം എല്ലാ പര്‍വതങ്ങള്‍ക്കും മുകളില്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്നു നില്‍ക്കും. എല്ലാ ജനതകളും അതിലേക്ക്‌ ഒഴുകും.അനേകം ജനതകള്‍ പറയും: വരുവിന്‍, നമുക്കു കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ ഗിരിയിലേക്ക്‌, യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഭവനത്തിലേക്ക്‌, പോകാം. അവിടുന്ന്‌ തന്റെ മാര്‍ഗങ്ങള്‍ നമ്മെ പഠിപ്പിക്കും. നാം ആ പാതകളില്‍ ചരിക്കും. കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ നിയമം സീയോനില്‍ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടും; അവിടുത്തെ വചനം ജറുസലെമില്‍ നിന്നും.അവിടുന്ന്‌ ജനതകളുടെ മധ്യത്തില്‍ വിധികര്‍ത്താവായിരിക്കും; ജനപദങ്ങളുടെ തര്‍ക്കങ്ങള്‍ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കും. അവരുടെ വാള്‍ കൊഴുവും അവരുടെ കുന്തം വാക്കത്തിയും ആയി അടിച്ചു രൂപപ്പെടുത്തും. രാജ്യം രാജ്യത്തിനെതിരേ വാളുയര്‍ത്തുകയില്ല. അവര്‍ ഇനിമേല്‍ യുദ്‌ധപരിശീലനം നടത്തുകയില്ല.യാക്കോബിന്റെ ഭവനമേ, വരുക. നമുക്കു കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ പ്രകാശത്തില്‍ വ്യാപരിക്കാം.

എല്ലാം നിയമാനുസൃതമാണ്‌; എന്നാല്‍, എല്ലാം പ്രയോജനകരങ്ങളല്ല. എല്ലാം നിയമാനുസൃതമാണ്‌; എന്നാല്‍, എല്ലാം പടുത്തുയര്‍ത്തുന്നില്ല.ഏതൊരുവനും സ്വന്തം നന്മ കാംക്‌ഷിക്കാതെ അയല്‍ക്കാരന്റെ നന്മ കാംക്‌ഷിക്കട്ടെ.ചന്തയില്‍ വില്‍ക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഏതുതരം മാംസവും വാങ്ങി മനശ്‌ചാഞ്ചല്യം കൂടാതെ ഭക്‌ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളുവിന്‍.കാരണം, ഭൂമിയും അതിലുള്ള സര്‍വവും കര്‍ത്താവിന്റേതാണ്‌.അവിശ്വാസിയായ ഒരുവന്‍ നിന്നെ ഭക്‌ഷണത്തിനു ക്‌ഷണിക്കുകയും പോകാന്‍ നീ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്‌താല്‍ വിളമ്പിത്തരുന്നതെന്തും മനശ്‌ചാഞ്ചല്യം കൂടാതെ ഭക്‌ഷിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക.എന്നാല്‍, ആരെങ്കിലും നിന്നോട്‌ ഇതു ബലിയര്‍പ്പിച്ച വസ്‌തുവാണ്‌ എന്നു പറയുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍, ഈ വിവരം അറിയിച്ച ആളെക്കരുതിയും മനസ്‌സാക്‌ഷിയെക്കരുതിയും നീ അതു ഭക്‌ഷിക്കരുത്‌.നിന്റെ മനസ്‌സാക്‌ഷിയല്ല അവന്റേതാണ്‌ ഞാന്‍ ഉദ്‌ദേശിക്കുന്നത്‌. എന്റെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം മറ്റൊരുവന്റെ മനസ്‌സാക്‌ഷികൊണ്ട്‌ എന്തിനു വിധിക്കപ്പെടണം?കൃതജ്‌ഞതയോടൊണ്‌ ഞാന്‍ അതില്‍ ഭാഗഭാക്കാകുന്നതെങ്കില്‍, ഞാന്‍ കൃതജ്‌ഞതയര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒന്നിനുവേണ്ടി എന്തിന്‌ എന്നെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തണം?അതിനാല്‍, നിങ്ങള്‍ ഭക്‌ഷിക്കുകയോ പാനംചെയ്യുകയോ മറ്റെന്തെങ്കിലും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ അവയെല്ലാം ദൈവ മഹത്വത്തിനായി ചെയ്യുവിന്‍.

എന്തുകൊണ്ട്‌ നിങ്ങള്‍ ശരിയായി വിധിക്കുന്നില്ല?നീ നിന്റെ ശത്രുവിനോടുകൂടെ അധികാരിയുടെ അടുത്തേക്കു പോകുമ്പോള്‍, വഴിയില്‍ വച്ചുതന്നെ അവനുമായി രമ്യതപ്പെട്ടു കൊള്ളുക: അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവന്‍ നിന്നെ ന്യായാധിപന്റെ അടുത്തേക്കുകൊണ്ടുപോവുകയും ന്യായാധിപന്‍ നിന്നെ കാരാഗൃഹപാലകനെ ഏല്‍പിക്കുകയും അവന്‍ നിന്നെ തടവിലാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.അവസാനത്തെ തുട്ടുവരെ കൊടുക്കാതെ നീ അവിടെനിന്നു പുറത്തുവരുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു. ഗലീലിയക്കാരായ ഏതാനുംപേരുടെ ബലികളില്‍ അവരുടെ രക്‌തംകൂടി പീലാത്തോസ്‌ കലര്‍ത്തിയ വിവരം, ആ സമയത്ത്‌ അവിടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ചിലര്‍ അവനെ അറിയിച്ചുഅവന്‍ ചോദിച്ചു: ഇവയെല്ലാം അനുഭവിച്ചതുകൊണ്ട്‌ അവര്‍ മറ്റെല്ലാ ഗലീലിയക്കാരെയുംകാള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ പാപികളായിരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ കരുതുന്നുവോ?അല്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ പറയുന്നു. പശ്‌ചാത്തപിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരും അതുപോലെ നശിക്കും.അഥവാ, സിലോഹായിലെ ഗോപുരം ഇടിഞ്ഞുവീണു കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട ആ പതിനെട്ടു പേര്‍, അന്നു ജറുസലെമില്‍ വസിച്ചിരുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയുംകാള്‍ കുറ്റക്കാരായിരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ വിചാരിക്കുന്നുവോ?അല്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ പറയുന്നു: പശ്‌ചാത്തപിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരും അതുപോലെ നശിക്കും.
